VERSES NO.6-19
Here, reference is made to the legislative guidance for man in addition to the general one for all creatures.
He revealed Quran to the Prophet (SA) for guidance of people. Then, He bestowed on the Prophet (SA) the ability of memorization of divine verses so that he never forgot anything after being revealed to him by Gabriel.
Quran was an admonition to the public and all people, but only a group of people benefited it, while others avoided listening, understanding and observing it.
Three factors of self-purification, glorification of God and praying are called as the causes of prosperity, salvation and victory. 
On the other hand, the main cause of deviation from the program of prosperity and salvation is preference of life of world to the Hereafter. 
Earlier scriptures refer to the books of Abraham and Moses comparing with the recent scriptures revealed to Christ and Islam Prophet (SA).
