Verses 21-25Verses 26-28

GOD'S FAVOUR RESPITES YOU, BUT...
VERSE NO. 21-25
Noah strived for centuries to put aright his strayed people, but he failed, because his people insisted upon their sinful polytheism.
Eventually, he complained to his Lord and said that his people are all wicked, and they do not want to take a straight path and avoid evil.
The leaders who strayed people, had only the advantage of wealth and children, and trod the way of Satan and infidelity. Their trick was that without having faith in idols, they supported idolatries, for using it as a means of deceiving people so as to exploit and use them basely for their own benefits.
By using their material resources, the wicked leaders devised plots to get rid of Noah and his preaching somehow. Would that they could know that, no evil plot can frustrate God, when He intends to do something. This superstitious cults and creeds and their various idols, only increased them error, and immersed them deeper and deeper into the marsh of ignorance, the end of which was being drowned. Life giving water suffocated them, and fire which is the most useful energy, burnt them; and their abiding soul was deprived of God's Grace and Mercy.
