Verses 17-19Verse 20

VIOLATING THE RIGHTS OF PARENTS
VERSE NO.17-19
Here we are confronted with another kind of a son who is contradictory to the one mentioned in the verse NO.15:-
``But he who said to his parents:- ``Fie on you! Do you promise me that...''
Here the stubborn son denies, but the compassionate parents insists upon their belief and entreat Allah for help to direct their son, saying:-
``Woe is you! Believe that Allah will not fail his promise.''
Such a kind of disbelievers who are warned and advised by their parents and other well-wishers, deserve the fate of the generations that passed away before them while they had incurred the wrath of God and fell head long to the Fire.
Many times it happens so that, a believer or even an arch prophet like Noah, has an ungodly son! They do not see the faith and creed of their father worthy of respect. Contrary to this, may also come true that a lively son is born of a deadly and faithless man!
Such contradictions are normal in the course of evolution of mankind. One reason for this might be that in the sight of the younger generation, age and experience have no value, and count for nothing! But generations must know that each person carries a part of the whole load in the universal plan of God; and therefore each individual is responsible for his own deeds, and will sooner or later taste the bitter or sweet fruit of his good deed or misdeed.
We all have to seek the Grace of God in reducing the evil of man's deeds throughout the environment.
