Verses 32-37Verses 1-3

THE DAY IN WHICH THE EVIL OF DEEDS APPEAR
VERSE NO.32-37
This passage begins with the arrogance of the non-believers who ignored in their pride, the announcement of the Final Judgement, and said:- ``We do not understand what do you mean by the Hour!'' More than 124 thousands of apostles and Messengers have been sent by God, one after another, to inform mankind of the Resurrection Day, and to warn us of the Final Judgement of God; but people still do not want to believe it. Their rejection is no more than an arrogant parade, and they cannot dismiss it as a false idea, or some non-scientific suppoisitions.
The next verse refers to their especial punishment which differs from the ordinary chastisements; because the evil of their deeds will be manifested, and personified, so that they can see its ugly and dreadful faces!
In other word, when they are confronted with the realities of life, their mockeries will roll upon themselves and they will come to know in what a falsehood have they been struggling, because the ugliness of their deeds will then appear to them clearly.
The most painful part of the scenery is when, their Lord says them:- ``Today We shall forget you as you forgot your encounter with this Day of yours.''
It is evident that forgetfulness is meaningless with regards to the All-knowing God, and such phrases are metaphorical. It may mean that Allah will not pay any heed to them, and He will leave them in their afflictions without giving them a hand.
Their evil condition is because they took the signs of God for mockeries, and their secular life made them haughty and proud. So in that Dreadful Day of Doom, they are not even addressed by their Merciful Lord or His angels, and they will not find a way out of the Hell that they have made by their own hands for themselves!
This Sureh began with God's favour of revelation, and ends with the celebration of His praise, power and wisdom.
