THE BANEFUL FATE OF TRANSGRESSORS!
VERSES NO.11-15 
The fate of the people of Thamud has been described here as a clear historical instance of baneful fate of transgressors. They lived in a mountainous area between Hejaz and Syria and their prophet was Salih(AS). They were living in welfare, but not only they did not appreciated the favors they were granted, but also rebelled, transgressed, belied their prophet and scoffed at divine signs. 
So, they were crushed for their sin and their land was leveled with the ground by God, while God does not have any fear for the consequences of their destruction, because He is the All-Knower, the Almighty.
