verses 18-22verses 23-32

AND SO WAS THE FATE OF AD
VERSE NO. 18-22
Other rebellious people who incurred the wrath of God after the people of Noah, were Ad, whose fate can teach us good lessons:-
``The people of AD also belied their prophet....So we sent against them a dreadful cold wind, plucking people up, as if they were trunks of up-rooted trees.''
When they transgressed all bounds and did not leave any room for reconcilation and return, Allah let loose a tornado that pulled up the palm-trees by their taproots, and struck the people to the walls, and knocked them down on the ground, and buried them alive in the ruins of their buildings!
We seek refuge to the forgiveness of God from our sins, and commit ourselves to His care against our ignorance and follies. It is said that the wind which destroyed Ad people lasted seven nights and eight days.
