Verses 26-33Verses 34-41

THE PAINFUL END OF THE MONOPOLIST GARDENERS
VERSE NO. 26-33
The parable of the gardener still continues in this passage;
The owner of the gardens joined in decision, to pluck their fruits in absence of the poor and needy; and give nothing of their harvest to the indigents.To that effect, Allah sent a storm of hot wind over the night, and burnt everything to ashes!
When they went to their garden next early morning, it was as if they had lost their way to the orchards, and had come to a different place; because in place of their garden, they only saw a waste wilderness!
There was a believer among the group, who had warned them; and exhorted to celebrate the praise of God, but among the majority of noises, his voice was not heard.
After the calamity, he began to reproach them saying:-
``Did I not tell you, why don't you sanctify Allah?''
They all confessed their wrong and said:-
``Glory be to our Lord! We have been oppressors.''
Finally, when they apprehended the depth of their misfortune, they exclaimed:-
O, Woe to us! We have indeed been transgressors.''
So, they repented and decided to amend their deeds, with the hope of incurring God's Mercy, which is always in access.
