Verses 18-25Verses 26-30

DOWN WITH HIM!
VERSE NO. 18-25
Here, more description is given about Valid, the inveterate enemy to the holy prophet.
Valid who was a heathen to the core, in accompany with Abujahl, did his best to run down the doctrine of QurÌn from the beginning:-
``He thought and plotted. Down with him; how did he plot!''
Thinking in the way of truth is an excellent work to do. An hour of such thinking is better than a life time of thoughtless worship of God.
But to think otherwise, and to plot against truth, is the worst among the sinful deeds. That sort of thought which Valid and his companions had, was aimed to unite the heathens against the Messenger of God; and would lead the pagans to their destruction of soul and self.
Valid rejected all the false attributes except the ``SORCERER''. By that he wanted to run down, but he unwittingly pushed up!His title of sorcery was an implicit confession that, QurÌn is a wonderful miracle! ``It is a very effective magic;'' he said. While it has not the least similarity with the work and affairs of sorcerers.
