IN THOSE DAYS WE WERE FEARFUL
VERSE NO.22-28
In the above passage, five more gifts have been added to nine favours of God, that were stated in the previous passage, all of which are bestowed on the inhabitants of Paradise:-
1-2 Two kinds of favourite foods, namely the flesh and fruit.
3- Various kinds of drinks that are passed over in the full and loving cups. Drinks which are free of all kinds sins and evil deeds.
In the life to come, no attention is given to triflings and waste of time. In this life, we may misuse a drink or a loving cup, the output of which might be evil deeds or sinful acts. But in the Paradise, althouth there are all kinds of drinks and full loving cups, that might be seized or snatched from one another, yet there is neither vanity nor any sin in the pass over or seizure of their cups.
4-Their waiters or handsome clean boy - servants, who are always on call and ready to serve their masters.
5-And the fifth gift of God is their relaxation and feeling safe and secure.
Another important bliss and Gift of God in the life to come, which is more or less spiritual, is the satisfaction of looking to the future without being much ashamed.
Those who did not forget their Lord and did not commit major sins, God will forgive them and blot out their minor sins too. So when they find a leisure to look at the past, and their record of deeds, they will find no reason to tremble with shame or anxiety for what they see:-
They say:-``In before, we were anxious (FEARFUL) among our family - but Allah favoured and saved us from the torments of the Hot wind.''
