WHEN THE SOUL REACHES THE THROAT
VERSE NO.83-87
At the death bed of Man all his dearer and nearer may be sitting round him in his last moments, when his soul reaches the throat. What can they do for the dying man?
God is also there as the third of the two or the fourth of the three! He is nearer to him than all his dearers, and nearers and even than the jugular vein of the dying man; but those present around him do not see the Lord!
Why do they not return him back? They all have abandoned to despair, and are just looking at him whose life has expired, and like a candle slowly goes out to quench, bidding farewell to life and all in it.
Here is where the weakness and unability of Man reveals itself, particularly when he sees that all the modern healing equipments are of no use at all.
