IF YOU ARE RIGHT, THEN BRING A WORD THE LIKE OF IT.
VERSE NO.29-34
Following the prosperity of believers, and the misery and distress of the non-believers, as a conclusion God says:-
``Now that it is so, you continue with your reminding.''
By preaching and reminding, the hearts of the seekers of truth will be more prepared for reception. In other word, preaching and reminding will pave the way for the acceptance of truth.
In spite of all the troubles and difficulties that the wicked unbelievers created to bar the prophet from his way, he did not reduce his endeavour and strife, and went on proclaiming the Message of God.
The heathen accused him of being a soothsayer, fortune-teller, poet, mad and possessed by evil spirits, but the Holy prophet never gave up and insisted upon his assertion.
When the elders of Quraish came to his uncle and said:-``We are willing to make your nephew the richest among us. To raise him to the highest rank, and wed him with the most beautiful and noblest girl on condition that he may cease despising our idols.''
But HAZRAT MOHAMMAD (SA) in answer to them said:-
``My dear uncle! If they settle the sun in my right hand, and station the moon in my left hand, I am not going to stop until they admit that there is no God except Allah .
In order to disperse people from around our holy peophet, the pagans accused him of being a soothsayer, a poet, mad or possessed by some evil spirits, and they were so ignorant that were not even aware that a mad is in a direct contradiction with a soothsayer who must be very wise and intelligent.
The prophet's opposition group had also the consolation of thinking that, Mohammad is nothing more than a mortal poet. They say :-``Sooner or later in the course of time, he will either change his mind or die, giving an end to all these disputes .
The answer to this vain desire was:-
``If the non-believers look for some calamity to befall you in the course of time, you do not worry, that God's justice will support you for your truth, and scourge your persecutors for their falsehood.
