THE DAY WHEN NO FRIEND CARES FOR A FRIEND!
VERSE NO. 8-18
Here, some more details have been given about the day of Doom, when the sky becomes red hot, and the mountains are turned to something like carded wool! There, the sinners cannot escape his fate in any price. When the sky becomes red hot, such as melted metal, it implies that there must be an awful heat higher than thousands of degrees in the centigrade scale of thermometer, as it is the case now in the sun.
When so, the mountains too will turn to something like carded wool by the extraordinary heat.
In such a condition, what of sinner who by now finds himself to be an immortal being. He realizes his personal responsibilities to which he paid no heed; and then such a terror and agony touches his mind and heart, that he will desert his dearer and nearer and all that he could have. He then wishes that he could ransom himself from that anguish, by any one and anything other than himself!
