Verses 19-28Verses 29-35

SOME QUALIFICATIONS OF WORTHY PEOPLE
VERSE NO. 19-28
A reference is made here to some of the qualities of worthy and deserving believers,in order to make clear why some people are to be punished, and some others to have great rewards:-
``Verily, Man has been created impatient and greedy.''
Nothing has gone wrong in the creation of Man, and he has been created in the best structures.
In Man's nature some qualities, such as fear, greed, jealousy, desire, restlessness and impatience and etc., have been created that are not bad a thing in their very self. On contrary, they may be very useful too, if Man could use them properly and in time. For example, greed is a power in the nature of Man, that sometimes may let him not to give an end to his strife and endeavour, rendering him thoroughly exhausted. It is, as if, some sort of a burning thirst in him! To use such a tender power in learning and earning knowledge, it will lead him to progress and evolution. But when he wastes this power in amassing wealth and hoarding it, or use it to obtain the fleeting pleasure of this material life, it will lead him to utter destruction. Therefore, by using his gift of free-will wrongly, Man will change his nature so that neither a cold weather suits him, nor a hot weather! By adversity he will lose patience, and abandon to despair; and in prosperity he loses himself, and becomes haughty and nigardly. Of course, there are exceptions with those who are devoted to prayer.
Prayer by itself is only a means of spiritual progress, or a ladder for ascension. The ladder may lead man up and upper or near and nearer to God, when it is used properly and observed well, as a means of ascension and not the ascention itself.
The ending of the above passage is:-
``The punishment of your Lord is not a thing to feel secure of!''
God's punishment is the consequence and fruit of our evil deeds, and may come out of a sudden, and at any time when you least expect it. This is why the punishment of God is not a thing to feel secure of.
