GOD WILL COLLECT AND PROTECT QURAN.
VERSE NO. 16-19
The above verses are parenthical,that Allah suddenly stops the argument about Resurrection Day, and gives an urgent and new instruction to His Messenger, saying:-
``Do not be in a hurry for collection and promulgation of Quran, because it is for us to do that; and even to explain and make it known. Therefore, you wait for us to recite, and then you follow our recital.''
The prophet had a tender love for Quran. So when a verse was recited to him by the arch angel of God, he would follow with repeating the inspired words by his tongue. The prophet was also in a haste to promulge the verses as soon as possible. Here too, he was advised to let things be done in their proper time.
The lesson that we may take the above verses is that we must not be impatient about the inspired words. We must follow it as made clear to us by the faculties given to us by God. We sometimes may fix our faith on fleeting things that come and go quickly, and neglect things of lasting moments which come slowly, and whose true import will only be fully seen in the Hereafter.
