TAKE LESSON FROM SODOM GOMORRAH
VERSE NO.31-37
When HAZRAT ABRAHAM was exiled to Syria, he continued his teaching and preaching the gospel of Oneness and Unity of God.
Lot a great apostle was his contemporary, and was assigned by him to warn the people of Sodom and Gomorrah, who were contaminated with various sins, including active sodomy. It was here when the angels of God came to him in the guise of men.
The errand of the angels was to take God's Mercy and Justice hand in hand, by giving a glad-tidings to the Elder of the Prophets, and destroying the sinful people of Lot in Sodom and Gomorrah. These people were deep in the most heinuous and unnatural sin- Pederasty and Sodomy.
This was because every sin has a due punishment which is marked out in the decree of Allah. Those sinners have been called prodigals in the literature of QurÌn, because of their multitude of sins.
Before the punishment of the sinful town, God's order was to deliver the guiltless believers from the damned towns:-
``We took out of it whoever was among the believers .''
``But we did not find in it except one household of Moslims!''
God's decree was to deliver all the faithfuls before the scourge, but unfortunately there were not many of them!
There was only one household of Moslims in Sodom and Gomorrah, and that was the house of Lot in which Lot's wife was also to be doomed.
So, Lot and his family were ordered to leave the place before the calamity could smite the guilty people.
