WHY DO THEY NOT PONDER ON QURAN
VERSE NO.25-28
Here the argument still goes on the hypocrites and their ever changing position. They look for some disappointed people who may have some common aim and object with them, to cheat them and make friends with them.
The Medinan hypocrites made friendship with some of the Jewish clans, living in the suburb of the town; and took parts in intrigues against the Messenger of God and his disciples. Both of the allied parties disliked the prophet while the hypocrites were idolaters and the Jews were monotheists.
The Jews knew well the truthfulness of the prophet, but when they found some of their unlawful privileges endangered, they took the way of opposition against the Messenger of God. Thus a monotheist could unite with an idolater to protect some material advantages they had!
Those who leave their proven guidance, and become apostate have in fact yielded themselves to the care of devil, and have built their desires vainly on its deception. They secretly promise to follow God's enemies in part of their affairs. They wish to remain partly in the camp of truth, and partly in camp among the followers of falsehood! But they belong to none of the groups. They are actually driven away from this, and left behind from that, because neither of the two parties can trust them. They may forget or even believe not that God knows well their inner secrets and hidden motives, and sooner or later will seize them in a painful, or in a shameful death bed:-
``Then how is it when the angels take out their souls beating their faces and backs.''
They are beaten to release their sinful souls and to leave aside their contaminated body. Then they will have to begin a new life full of adversity and affliction the end of which is unknown.
