Quran,Translation and Commentary in Brief (Vol. 06)
Verses 1-6 Verses 7-14

I SWEAR BY STORMS AND CLOUDS.
VERSE NO.1-6
This is the second Sureh in QurÌn which begins with successive oaths, which are introductions to the subject of Resurrection Day, that surely will come to pass.
The contents of the swears have certain relations with the Day of Doom.
God begins swearing by four objects successively and then with another. In the above passage four important things have been the objects of swears, as evidences of the Resurrection after death, which will come to pass. There are the winds, the clouds, the ships, and a certain groups of angels.
Here their different modes of workings are evidences of God's knowledge, goodness, plan, and strict justice in the final judgement. In that Divine court of justice, good and bad will reach their deserved
ends, and Allah will give each of them their destined rewards.
We don't insist in our assertion that the scatterers, carriers of heavy loads, gliders smoothly, and distributers are meant exactly what we commented as winds, clouds, ships, and angels. God knows it the best. They may suggest other meanings along with our recognized intents as mentioned above.
the Arabic, ``Deen'' is one of the several names of Dooms Day.
