Quran,Translation and Commentary in Brief (Vol. 06)
Verses 13-17Verses 18-24

WHEN THE GREATEST OF EVENTS WILL COME TO PASS.
VERSE NO. 13-17
The reference here is to some of the occurrences of the Day of Doom, which is known to be the greatest of events. In fact, the theme of this chapter is the Inevitable Day of Resurrection, in which the deads will raise up; and the court of the Final Judgement will be established.
That wonderful day will begin with a singel blast, sounded on the trumpet.
Then, a new earth and a new world is made out of the old ones!
Our present understanding is so limited that, we cannot understand a fraction of the New World, or what is going to happen there. Events, phenomena and happenings are such that no ear has yet heard, no eyes have ever seen and no mind can imagine!
In the above passage, it is said that;heavens will rend assunder. Mountains will disintegrate, and the earth will smash and destroy its wholeness!
Then the angel will appear wandering round about, and the throne of Lord will be carried by eight angels overhead. Who knows what and how the throne of our Lord is; or what the wandering angels round about will have to do?
In that wonderful day, our deeds here will take a physical form so as to be introduced to the court, or to the scale of Justice- And woe to the sinners and those who rejected the truth in that Inevitable Day.
