IF YOU HELP GOD, HE WILL HELP YOU
VERSE NO.7-11
These verses too are to encourage the believers to fight the enemies of truth:-
``O, you who have believed! If you help Allah, He will help you, and confirm your footsteps.''
One of the signs of true faith is to be engaged in a contest with the enemies of truth.
In the above verse (NO.7) to help Allah means to help His cause, which is mainly His Messenger and His religion. We should know that God's power is infinite, and He is not in need of His servant's help. Therefore to help God here, is to put an stress upon the importance of Jihad, and defending the creed of truth.
In return, Allah will help the strivers who sincerely fight for the cause of Allah-God's help may be through the angels, or change of events to the benefit of the fighters, or attracting the hearts of people towards them, or rendering their activities effectual, and after all, Allah may confirm their footsteps.

Then the verses apply to the unbelievers:-
``Those who disbelieved, down with them! And their acts are lost.''
Without faith deeds are rendered fruitless, and the faithless doer does not attain the results that he expects. On the contrary, the fruits that they may obtain of their works might be degradation and misery for their souls, because nothing comes out of evil except evil, and this tenet has been manifested throughout the history of mankind.
