SATAN'S PARTY
VERSE NO. 14-19
The above passage dioscloses a part of the hypocrite's conspiracies and plots. Here; those with whom Allah was wrathful,were the Jews, and those who befriended them,were the hypocrites, who pretended to be Moslims, but intrigued with the Jews against the prophet. So the hypocrites belonged neither to Moslims nor to the Jews, and were wandering between the two parties.
To prove that they were with Moslims,they swore falsely that they believed, but they knew that they were liars.Their false oath was only a shield to protect them when they barred people from the way of God. They wanted to gain reputation by their false oaths, but Allah revealed what was hidden in their hearts and defamed them.
Almost all the hypocrites relied upon their wealths and children which never availed them aught against Allah, bacause Allah is the disposer of all events.
When the court of Judgement is established, they again may think that some oaths or excuses will save them, but soon will they understand that their falsehood is not a footing worth to stand upon it.
