Quran,Translation and Commentary in Brief (Vol. 06)
Verses 1-4Verses 5-6

FIGHTERS LIKE STEEL BARRIERS
VERSE NO. 1-4
The theme of this chapter is faith, Monotheism and Glorification. All the existing creatures, be they animate or inanimate celebrate the praise of God, and sanctify His sacred Essence and attribute, either by tongue or by nature.
Then, the reference is to those class of people who do not do what they say. They are strictly reproached for their hateful qualification, that they say something which they do not intend to do it. This is in fact a breach of promise, which is indeed a heinuous sin in the sight of God.
Hazrat Imam Sadique has said:-``A true learned scholar is he whose conducts confirm his sayings.'' If a Moslim wants to call other people to God, he must call them by his acts, rather than by his tongue.
Then, the immediate reference is to those warriors who are faithful and apt to self-sacrifice:-
``Allah loves those who fight in His way in front lines, as if they are strong solid edifices that are cemented with lead.''
A firm discipline is needed if we expect to receive the help of Allah. In the battle of Ohud, the breach of discipline resulted in a calamity for the believers in which they lost seventy of the bests, including HAZRAT HAMZEH, the Master of Martyrs! Here in the above verse (No. 4), is an adequate example of discipline which is a battle front with a large brave troop, standing against assault, holding together and fighting so firm in the way of God as a mountain or some solid unshaking barrier.
