CREATION OF MAN FROM CLAY
VERSE NO.14-18
Here is a brief reference to the creation of Man and Jinn. The verses imply that Allah originated Man from a dry and brittle mud such as potter's clay. He made Jinns from a mixture of various flames of fire. Both of them depend entirely on God to sustain them.
Then the reference is to the east and west or the sun rise and sun set:-
``The Lord of two easts and the Lord of two wests''
It is true that the sun rises and sets every day in various points of the orbit in which the earth rotates; and there are 365 easts and 365 wests in each solar year.
But due to the Northern and Southern inclination of earth's pivot, with relation to its surface, making an angle of 23 degree, there are two extreme points where the sun rises during the year which includes all the points between. Similarly the two wests include the two extreme pionts of the sun's setting, and all the points between.
So, with regards to the Northern inclination, there are two wests and all the others are in between:-
``Then which one of the bounties of your Lord do you both (MAN JINN) deny?''
