Verses 12-22Verses 23-26

THE REWARDS IN PARADISE
VERSE NO. 12-22
In the above passage, some of the bounties and blessings of the Paradise, have been pointed to. These are the rewards that are granted to the believers for their virtue of patience. Some of them are as undermentioned:-
1-Their clothes are made of fine silk and brocade.
2-They relax upon beautiful coaches of comfort.
3-They are neither vexed by the heat of the sun, nor with the cold weather.
4-Shades of the trees fall low upon them and their fruits are easy to pluck.
NOTE:-
This implies that in the next life, in the abode of the righteous, temperature will be delighteful and most agreeable to their sensation as we know them now. In other words, there is no more scorching heat of the sun, or the biting cold of the moon. But the next verse (NO. 14) implies that there exists a sun to radiate heat and light, because without such a sun, the trees cannot have a shadow.
5-There the vessels, pots and cups are made of silver, crystal, gold and other precious things.
6-They are given drinks or wine, that are clean, pure, without intoxication and with ginger and camphor taste or nature.
7-Their vessels are filled from various springs and fountains, one of which is named, ``SALSAIL''.
8-The waiters who serve them are boys with external youth, and as handsome and clean as scattered pearls.
9-They can adorn themselves with gold and silver rings and bracelets.
