Verses 6-8Verses 9-2

GUARD YOUR FAMILY AGAINST THE FIRE
VERSE NO. 6-8
Following the reproach to some of the prophet's wife consorts, all the believers are addressed saying:-
``O, you who have believed! Guard yourselves and your families against the Fire; fuel of which is people and stones.''
Here, the self-control can be with regards to sins and lusts; and guarding the family is by enjoining good and forbidding evil, so as to keep the environment of the household clean and pure.
The above verses gradually drive from the reproach of HASFEH and AISHA, to admonishing all women, and all believers. It then ends in advising people even the unbelievers, that, they should look after their own conducts, and the conducts of their families, lest they see their nearers and dearers burning in the Fire.
That Fire, the fuel which is the evil people whose hearts have been as hard as stones.
The next verse shows the way to salvation and being safe against the said fire:-
``O, Believers! Turn to Allah in repretence, a sincere repretence.''
A true and sincere repentence may be set upon four legs, namely; remorse in the heart-begging pardon by tongue to abandon the sin and intending not to return to the sin again.
In short; a sincere repentence is to leave the sin and not return to it, as the milk leaves the breast without a return.
