THE UPRIGHT MEN IN THE WAY OF MONOTHEISM
VERSE NO. 22-27
Here, the man of god and the man of evil have been compared and their difference of way and state are made clear:-
``Is he who walks prone upon his face, more rightly guided, or he who walks upright on a paved straight path?''
The obstinate faithless and arrogant people are introduced to be similar to those who walk in a crooked and dishonest way with their faces inclined downward. In their way, they are not able to see the pits and pitfalls, or even control themselves.
Contrary to them are the upright believers who always walk in a paved and straight way under the light and guidance of God.
In other words, a man of evil walks in darkness and doubt, and prone upon his face and inclined downward. Every now and then he stumbles on his dangerous and unpaved road. Contrary to him is the man of God, who is sure, firm and upright in his straight path, alighted by guidance of God.
