Verse 61IT IS A VIRTUE, AND NOT A WEAK POINT

OCCASION OF THE REVELATION (VERSE NO. 61)

      A group of the hypocrites had a sitting together, and were saying ill of the prophet. One of them said to the others: ``You better stop saying ill of this man, that it may easily reach him and he will make the people to rise and revolt against you.''

      Another of them whose name was JALLAS, said: ``It does no matter what we say. We may then go to him and deny our saying. He will admit because, he is a good ear who listens to every body, and welcomes people easily! The above verse (No. 61)was revealed to disclose the secrets of their confidential meeting.
