The stress is here on those who judge not according to that which Allah has sent down. By using the verb, `TO JUDGE' in the present or future tense does not prove that Quran orders the Christians to judge according to the present New- Testament; which is contrary to other Quranic verses and also the very existence of Quran, which promulgates a new religion and Law. The verse rather means:- ``After the revelation of Enjil We said to Jesus and his followeres, to judge according to it.'' Worthy of note is here that the somehow similar endings of the verses No. 44, 45, and 47 with the significant words:- UNBELIEVERS - OPPRESSOR and EVIL- DOERS who judge not according to what Allah has sent down, might be that each commandment has three aspects; one related to the legislator who is the Lord; the second aspect is related to judge, and the third one to the person who is to be judged. He who judges not according to what Allah has sent down, has shown that he believes not in Allah; and that he has oppressed a guiltless or guilty person with false and wrong judgement, and for his rebel and turning his back to the true law, he is of surety an evil- doer.
