VERSE NO. 49

      The hypocrites who were waiting to see which pan of the scale would be heavier in order to adhere to it; and also the nominal Muslims in whose heart was disease and could not have a true, pure and strong faith; were all amazed to see the real believers so bravely expose themselves to the risk of being injured, destroyed, or lost! They asked themselves: ``Are these people not mad, who do so!? With their little power and few in number, how do they dare then to encounter a host many times more than them?'' And at last they concluded that, Muslims must have been deluded by their religion - they are in a misleading state of their mind; and their false belief has deceived them, or else they would not have endangered their lives so boldly!
