THE DESTINY OF THE ARROGANTS (VERSES NO. 146 - 147)

A brilliant lesson lays in the story of Moses and Pharaoh, which is concluded in the above verses:

``Soon shall I turn away from my signs those who are proud without any right in the land, so that if they see....''

This is because they observed so many miracles and signs of God, but they contumaciously rejected them all! The root cause of their rejection was their arrogance and vain pride, which like Satan threw dust on their eyes and encouraged them to do deeds that merely served to harden their hearts and cover their insight and wisdom. God's signs are everywhere. But what then, if we obstinately reject, and arrogantly scorn it? In such a state; it is natural for God to withdraw his Grace due to His universal plan and Law of Justice.

Insisting on our resistance and rejection of Divine Evidences will eventually result in our being turned away from God's way and signs. Then such a thrown away sinner, from the path of rectitude will be blind to spiritual facts and deaf to warnings. They will suddenly find themselves in the middle of the Blazing Fire of being away from their Merciful and Compassionate Lord!
