PROOFS OF MONOTHEISM IN THE HEAVENS

(AN INTRODUCTION BY TRANSLATOR: Now comes the story of ABRAHAM, who believed sincerely in the ONENESS of God, and was everseeking to strengthen this belief in his heart, through reasons and evidences, and Allah did show hime His Kingdom and rulership in the heavens and in the earth until he reached to the highest degree of surety and certitude of belief in God; and was raised by Allah to the rank of well versed arch prophet.

      Also, that his contemporary people were low in education and culture and wisdom.

      They were a nation with a mythology full of superstitions, that now had left their hand made idols, and worshipped the celestial bodies like the stars; Venus and Jupiter, or the moon, and the sun!

      In their sight Venus the bright evening star, was god! At first she was a minor deity, until she became identified with Aphrodite the goddess of Love, beauty and fertility; and gradually acquired the character of Love- goddess. She then ruled over the VENUSBERG, a Paradise of sensual delights.

      Another group of ABRAHAM'S contemporary people worshipped Mithra, the god of light. Mithraism modified by the chaldanean astrology, was then influenced by Pythagorean beliefs and Greeks mystery religion, and later it was obscured underZORO ASTRIANISM.

      Mithra the god of light, the symbol of which was the sun and the moon, was considered to be the creator of life by his slaying the bull, and at the end of time would initiate a new order, where believers would enjoy immortality. This was when,ABRAHAM was chosen by God the only Creator of the whole universe, as an Arch Prophet; and he had to lead people in the straight path of Monotheism.

      The custom of all the prophets was to speak with their people in their own low language, and according to their low level of wisdom. When a man of wisdom and knowledge has to speak with a child he must use a childish language, and he must also hear with a childish ear!

      On this basis we found ABRAHAM in the idol house who broke all the smaller idols and laid his axe or hammer in the hand of the bigger idol!

      When the furious idolaters, through their suspicion, asked ABRAHAM, who was then a boy at the beginning of his teenages: ``Who did that to our god?'' He answered: ``Why do you ask me! You better ask the greater idol, who might have done it, and in whose hand was the axe!!''

      For the first time the vulgar had a chance to use their brain, and reflect deeply on a matter of much importance. But still the power, and the right of decision and judgement was in the hands of the priests and custodians of the idols, who had extensive benefits and many great privileges from the ignorance and superstitions that they held and protected among their vulgar followers!
