VERSE NO. 75

Who was Jesus Christ? He was a Messenger of God that other Messengers like him, had passed away before his advent. He was the son of Mary, and was created and formed in Mary's womb, no less and no more. Mary, his mother never claimed that she was a god, or a goddess. Neither she claimed the rank of godship for her son. She was a truthful, pious woman. Who then ascribed such false and excess attributes to the mother and son? Jesus was elected by God a Messenger, just like the other apostles that passed away before him - like Abraham - Moses - Jacob and many else! Jesus and his mother were both eating food. They needed all that an ordinary human being needs.

They needed to eat, to wear clothes, to sleep, to wash and bathe, as any other human being, or any other apostle. Many prophet like Jesus, had died before him. Why should then by excess in measures we call Jesus a god or the son of God?! By son of God, what do we mean? Do we mean a physical son or a creature dear and near to his creator. And can we say who is physically far from God? And what is the difference between Jesus and ABRAHAM and Moses; that Jesus should be a godhead and the latters merely apostle!?

The verse implies logical rejection of Messiah's godship and the unreasonable adherance of the Christians to an opinion so much void of truth and reasons:-

``Behold how do We make clear for them the signs, then have a look at their stubborness!
