HUMAN RELATIONS (VERSE NO.32)

The story of the son of Adam ends in a conclusion, or a principal idea that:-

``Whoever slays an innocent person, shall be as if he slew all people. And whoever revives a person, it would be as if he saved the life of all people.''

How can that be to equal an individual (to a whole population) that's a question to which different commentators have given different answeres. One answer to that is:-

He who stretches his hands to kill an innocent human being is no more a human himself. He is actually turned to a men-killer and blood-thirsty beast, and it is not difficult for him to kill others and others too!''

Another answer to the question might be:- ``To kill or seek to kill an individual because he represents an ideal, is to kill all the people who uphold that ideal. On the other hand, to save an individual's life in the same circumstance, is to save a whole community who hold that view.''

Hazrat Imam Sadiq (AS), was asked the same question, and he answered:-

``The denotation here is to save a life from fire accidents, or drawings, and etc. then Imam paused for the connotation, and then said: It is the matter of calling someone to the path of truth or falsehood, and rejection or acceptance of the call.
