Verses 100-103EYES CANNOT SEE GOD

HE IS THE CREATOR OF EVERYTHING

VERSE NO. 100- 103

A corner of the superstitious ideas and false notion of the polytheists are shown here and discussed on:

``And they associate the Jinns as partners with Allah, though He did create them.''

The Arabic, `JINN' has two main meanings and the verse may imply both of them:

      1) It literally may mean covered, hidden, or something invisible, If so, it may refer to any invisible being or creature such as the angels, the spirits, or things that cannot be seen by our eye like microbes.

      2) The second shade of meaning of the Arabic Jinn, refers to a supernatural creature in Arabic Folklore, that has a magical power. In most instances he is formed like a man, but has the magical power to alter his size and shape! He can also influence mortal affairs for good or evil. Occasionally the Jinn is depicted as a slave in temporary bondage to a human master!

In Islamic and Quranic literature, the Jinn is a heavy and responsible creature like man; In many passages of the Holy Quran, Jinn and Man are addressed and spoken together. In the S 4: 14- 15, man is stated to have been created from clay, while Jinnis are created from a flame of fire.

Elsewhere in the Quran it is reported that God commanded the angels to lie prostrate in front of Adam. But, IBLIS, one of the Jinnis who was in the company and rank of the angels, did not prostrate, while all the angels stretched out on the ground face downward in prostration. Then Iblis was excommunicated by God for his disobedience, and he was discharged from the service of God, and fell down. In the Pagan Era, there was a tribe among the Arabs called, `BANOOMALIH' who worshipped Jinnis. In ancient Greek too, there were peoples who worshipped the Jinnis and glorified them as gods.

Some Pagan Arabs had the notion that God has married with the Jinnis, and the result of his marriage with them is the angels!

The Holy Quran has condemned and blotted out all these superstitions by many verses, as well as the short phrase here that: (How could it be so as you think)``When God has created the Jinnis?''

Some other superstitious people too, as the verses imply, have forged lies against God, and by ignorance and without any knowledge have ascribed sons and daughters to Him! These are none the better than those who take Jinn and idols for their god.

This may refer to a sect of the Jews who hold that Ezra (ESDRAS) was the son of God, or all the Christians that say; Jesus the son of Mary was the son of God!

He who Has created the heavens and the earth, and the whole universe, how can have a consort and beget sons or daughters? And we are sure enough that all the sons, and all the daughters are creatures of the will and design of god.
