VERSE NO. 16

      Here the Holy Quran attracts the attention of Muslims to Jihad in otherwise, that, they should not think that their mere claim of faith is enough to settle everything. All the believers will be tested and tried to make known their truthfulness, and also to develop their aptitude and natural abilities.

      In the above verse, two standards have been introduced by which truthfulness of a Muslim can be judged: 1) to strive hard and fight for the sake of Allah, and, 2) To get rid of the unbelievers and polytheists by disconnecting his relations with them, and by taking God, His Messenger, and the believers, for friend and intimate.
