VERSES NO. 24 & 25

      They said to Moses:- ``We will never enter the land so long as the tyrant people live there! Then go forth you and your Lord, and fight you both, while we shall be sitting here.''

      Moses lost all his hopes on account of his followers, and therefore raised his hands towards the sky saying to God:- O, My Lord! I own no one save myself and my brother, Then do separate us from these vicious people.''

      The phrase in verse No. 23 (TWO OF THOSE GOD FEARING MEN) implies that, there had been a minority group of Godfearing men among the Israelites, but they had no power enough to overcome, or even affect the disobedient majority of them!
