HARSHNESS JOINED WITH MILDNESS (VERSES NO. 5)Verses 7-10

VERSE NO. 6

      Finally, the reason for the pagan's faithlessness has been said to be their unawareness, and their lack of knowledge:

``And if any one of the idolaters, seeks refuge with you, give him protection, so that he may hear the word of Allah. After that, take him to his place of security. You do that, because they are a people who know not.''

      Therefore, opportunities must be provided for those who know not, in order to know and understand.

      If an individual from among the enemies, seeks refuge, to come to you to know what is your mission or message, and what do you mean; deny and reject him not. His coming to you might be dangerous for him, and may involve a high degree of risk. You, therefore give him protection, and provide for him to hear the word of God, and when he wants to return, escort him to a place, where he can be safe and secure.
