THE TABLETS OF THE LAW (VERSE NO. 144 - 145)

In his appointment Moses was given high mission as an Arch Prophet, and had the honour of speaking with God and hearing His answers, and hence his title of, ``Moses the Interlocutor.'' This implies that God created words to express His intention to Moses so that he was sure that he heard God speaking to him.

There, on the Mount Sinai, he was also given the Tablets of the Law on which was engraved the commandments - some absolutely prohibited and some only disapproved. Some of the religious acts were essential and incumbent, and some were only recommended. Engraved on the tablets, were also some orders with few options, and the believers could choose the better one or the best of them depending on their capacity or ability, but no soul is burdened by God beyond its capacity and ability.

The phrase, `FROM EVERYTHING' in the verse No. 145, implies that the whole lot of Law consisting of admonitions, prohibitions, and injunctions, were not written upon the Tablets of the Law; because Moses was not the last of the prophets, and his Law had still to be completed by Jesus and Mohammad.
