Verses 52-54THE RAISE AND FALL OF NATIONS

THE UNCHANGEABLE CUSTOMS (VERSES NO. 52- 54)

The fate and doom of the Meccan polytheists and unbelievers, was not an exception or unique event in the history of man. It was rather, according to the unchangeable Divine rules and custom that they were so severely punished; Just like Pharaoh's folk and those who were before them. Some of them disbelieved the signs of Allah which were sent to them for guidance, and some other belied the signs and falsified them. And always, such is the fate of those who tread the same puddle; be it in the past, present, or future.

This unchangeable rule of God is further explained that: God bestows His Bounty and Grace on His servants freely, because His Mercy and Grace is infinite and general, and is granted according to capacities and merits; and God will never withdraw His donation and gift unreasoned. Before God may change a servant's state and circumstance, some stubborn resistance, and obstinate disobedience must have formed in the heart, and appeared in the limbs of the servant which brings about the inevitable punishment and withdrawal of blessings.
