Verse 68Verses 69-70

The metaphor of trumpet revealed here, implies that at the end of this world, and at the beginning of the next, two incidents will happen suddenly: By the first sound of a Trumpet all the living creatures will die, except those whom God intends them to remain alive. By the second great sound all the deads will raise up again and look around them.

In other word, by the first sound of the Trumpet human souls will be dazed, unconscious, and will lose all their memories, and by the second sound they become conscious again, and find themselves in a new worldِThey see a new heaven, a new earth, and a new everything!

This unconsciousness of all, for the time being; The duration of which is not known to anyone other than God, is a great Mercy and Grace from our Lord to the creatures. In that period of unconsciousness, a chaosِa confused state of primordial matter before the creation of orderly forms, will touch the universe, or at least our solar system. The planets will collide and dash against one another with deadly sounds, and Hells of fire! Mountain will smash, and the sun will emit no more light or may devour everything in its burning and blazing fire. The moon may strike the earth and both of them may fall into mouth of another larger globe in the solar system. Every now and then there will be another awful event or terrible phenomenon of the nature!

Confusions and fear, can cast the hearts out of the throats! A new world is then being created which is far more stable than the present world. Here, Allah through His infinite mercy and grace takes away the consiousness from His servants and creatures, until everything becomes calm and quiet again, and order prevails and controls all movements.

This is exactly what a wise doctor does in a surgical operation, when he anesthetizes his patient for the period needed for his surgical operation.
