Being deeply fond of worldly enjoyments and goods, will result in forgetting God, and rejecting His Grace. When the lover of this material world forgets his Gracious God, a devil shall be set over him, and get mastery to rule him! The devil will remain as his permanent companion, and will bar him from the straight way of God. The inevitable and tragic consequence of forgetting Allah, is a veil to cover the eyes and ears, and to seal the heart of the victim. He shall then apprehend nothing of the spiritual affairs.

      When men pay no heed to Allah, they gradually will forget Him. It then becomes natural for some impious and Godless devilish people to befriend him and become his near companion, to bar him from the straight way of God. Those who belong to light will attract light, and those who belong to smoke are attracted by the fire, and birds of a feather flock together.

      The evil companion will encourage his friend to do evil, and persuades his victim to believe that he is doing well! They both sink deeper and deeper into the mire of sins, until they reach the bottom; where is nothing except torment and agony. There in the presence of God, the victim will say to his hunter:- ``Would that there had been the distance of two easts between me and you.''

      But such disputes are of no use, because both of the parties have made a hell of themselves, and have their share of punishment now.
