Verses 33-40Verses 41-49

The leaders and the led are both to share the same fate and rewards in Resurrection Day:-

``In that day all of them will have to share the punishment more or less.''

Then reference is made to the major source of their misfortune, which is their pride:-

``When it was said to them; there is no God except Allah they turned away in pride.''

Their pride was the source of their disbelief. Pride may induce self satisfaction, and prevents man from amending his behaviour or correcting his wrongs. By his arrogance the faithless thinks that whatever he does, or whatever he thinks, that's the best. So, thinking too much of themselves will lead them to perdition, unless God's Mercy may want it otherwise.

The pagan Arabs frequently accused our prophet of being a poet or possessed, while neither his words were similar to poetry, nor his behaviour was unlike that of the wisest of men.

The Message of our prophet which is titled, ISLAM is pure truth, and far from falsehood and forgeries. It is comformable to reason, wisdom. and knowledge. All Islamic commandments are agreeable with the nature and instinct of man, and hence some scholars have known it as the religion of man's nature.
