The argument about those who were given to negligence, and who were careless about their fate, is continued here.
Many generations before them came to being whom their carelessness and evil deeds, destroyed them; and none of them returned back so as to amend or to compensate his loss. Of course, they all exist with God and they shall be brought to His court of justice for God's Final Judgement in the Resurrection Day.
The traces of them can be found in the ruins of their buildings and cities, and the tales of their living through the history books.
As to the people who are addressed here by the phrase, ``DO THEY NOT SEE'' they might be the opponents of our prophet in particular, and all the mankind in general.
As a matter of fact this verse is a complementary to the previous verse (NO.30), that says:-
``O, what a pity for My servants! There comes no apostles to them unless thay take him for mockery!''
If we study the history of the past, we come to know many generations adhered to the same cursed doctrine of disbelief, who were all destroyed through God's wrath. And their greatest misfortune is that they are not in a natural position to turn back, to amend and correct their discrepancies, or at least let us know of their experiences in this life and in the next life. Unfortunately the door of return in the way of evolution is closed for ever.
That they do not return to us, does not prove that they do not exist. They all are present in creation, and are waiting God's Final Judgement.
Death cannot be the end; and grave is not the destination of the caravan of evolution. We will have to answer for all the faculties, power, and goods, that we hold on trust from our Creator.
