Verses 50-61Verses 62-70

In their prosperity and joy in Paradise, one of the sincere servants of God, remembers an intimate friend he had in this world who disbelieved Resurrection:-

``One of them said; I had an intimate friend who was saying; ``When we are dead and became dust and bones, are we raised up to be rewarded for what we have done.''

He then finds his friend to be in Hell.

This intimate friend of him was a doubtful and skeptic man in religion. He could not assure his heart, that, there could be a day of resurrection and doom.

Now the said man searched on, and found his old friend burning in a fire that he had kindled by his evil deeds, and faithlessness!

When he saw him in that misfortune, he could guess what a terrible fate he had escaped through the Mercy of his Lord.

``He said to his faithless friend; ``By Allah you were well nigh to lead me to perdition!''

There he became more aware of his own faults and God's Mercy, because he too, could have been amid the fire, as his intimate companion was! He clearly realized the great danger of which he had escaped by the Grace of God, and through his faith. Although very sure of that, he feared to believe it. Through his extreme joy and pleasure he says:-

``Are we really not going to die any more, and are we indeed not to be punished!?''

The true answer is yes! He now leaves out of space and beyond time! That newly made everlasting body of us can live beyond time and space as we feel to be so in our night sleep.

The above verses imply that there are some sort of a communication between the inhabitants of Paradise and Hell. It seems that the two parties can see each other and speak to one another in spite of the long distance between them. They do have some advance means of communication the nature of which we don't understand now.
