Verses 171-177Verses 178-182

Here is a good-news from Allah that the truthfuls and the hosts of Allah are the real victors. They will eventually vanquish the evil forces. This word of God, has taken precedence in time that, may serve as an example to authorize and to justify a subsequent act of an analogous kind. So we should know always that God will help His Messengers, and the hosts of God will be helped, and they are the real victors. Allah has taken it as an obligation to help the believers.

Here we ought to know that the victory that has been promised is not always apparent and physical. It may sometimes be an spiritual, and truth may vanquish the devilish school of falsehood, but not so clearly as to be seen by all.

Apparently Jesus Christ who was the standard bearer of truth, was defeated by the forces of Devil; but in fact it is not so. The Roman Emperor who is claimed to have crucified him, or as we Moslems believe, he only intended to do so and failed, soon after he had to divide the Roman Empire's history in two parts; One part B.C and the second part A.D!

Definitely Jesus Christ was the victor in that fight of unequal apparent power. He reached his goal and obtained all his sacred objects, whatever they could have been.

Some sorts of victories are obtained gradually. The striver does not reach his aim spontaneously. In the short period of Man's life that it is, he may pave the way to victory in a long run - perhaps in years or decades to reach a sacred goal.

There are lessons to be learned from the events that occured in our prophet's life time. He had many temporary failures, but they did not discourage the Messenger of God at all; because he was sure that the end always belongs to the virtuous, and God is with those who avoid evil.

In the struggle of the truth against falsehood, the hosts of God will eventually triumph by the power of Allah and His Holy Spirit that comes to help.

So the prophet was instructed to watch and wait till the right would come to its own. Sooner or later the disbelievers too will see what have they done and what are the consequences of their work.
