Quran,Translation and Commentary in Brief (Vol. 05)
Verses 11-16Verses 17-19

This passage is a complementary to the previous argument about Resurrection Day. It begins with the creation and genesis that:-

``Allah originates creation, then He renews it, and to Him you will be returned.''

It implies that He who had the power to originate a creature he can recreate him with the same power. So also the return is to Him, for final judgement and rewards. As to those believers who travel in the road of Allah, which is the road of development and evolution, will always continue going towards Him who is the substance of Infinite virtue and mere goodness.

In other word; nothing can come out of nothingness or exist of its own accord. God originates every creation. Then He develops it. Then He transforms it to something else, which in our sight may appear as deathِdeath is nothing but some sort of a transformation. God creates and also recreates and the process of transformation, or recreation, continues as far as God will. God is the Source and the Origin of everything, and He is the destination and aim of everything too. He is the first. He is the last. He is the apparent and He is the Hidden too. After our death He will recreate us.

Then in the next verse the immediate reference is to the sinners who are in despair for the situation they have in the Dooms Day. They will have no intercessors to give them a hand. Even their false gods and partners, whom they had worshipped are hopeless that they can do nothing. In that Judgement of justice, intercession, partiality, and bribery will have no effect, and every soul will have to taste the fruit of his own deeds, either sweet or bitter, unless God wants it otherwise.

At the end, there is an especial Hour of fate and destiny, when God's court of Final judgement will be established. Then by God's decree the good-doer will prosper and the evil-doer will abandon to despair by seeing the reaction of his wrong actions:-

``As to those who believed and did righteous deeds they are joyful in the garden of bliss; and as to those who disbelieved and denied our signs and the last encounter, they shall be presented to the punishment.''
