Quran,Translation and Commentary in Brief (Vol. 05)
Verses 26-29Verses 30-32

God is the owner of everything because He is the Creator and the Cherisher of everything. On this account everything is humbly obedient to him either through religion, or by genesis, and nature. In this regard all the beings are alike, because no one else shares His ownership. Even the imaginative gods of the polytheists are all possessed and owned by Him. In other word, we may say; Allah is the Creator and the owner of whatever exists. Therefore everything must be, and really is, humble and obedient to Him willingly or unwillingly. Why should then, we do not likewise when His love is deposited in the depth of our nature? He is the beginner of every creation and all the movements and changes will end to Him.

Then in the next verse (NO.28), Qurän teaches a lesson in parable, which is drawn from our own lives and experiences:-

``....Will you have from among those that your right hands possess, such as your slaves, any associates in what We have given you for sustenance, in equal terms?''

Then why should you raise to equality with the creator in worship, one of His poor creatures, when you won't associate your servants in your wealth and possessions? How dare of you then to ascribe partners to the Lord God, some one or something, from among the men, angels, or creatures, and worst of all, taking some idols and carved stones for gods!?
