The argument goes on about God's enemies, and that they will have to suffer two kinds of punishments in here, and in hereafter.

      If they be patient or not, the Hell is their abode. Even bringing excuses and begging pardon will avail them nothing. Their punishment in the present life is non the better than their punishment in the life to come. Here they settle themselves in such a position that their good friends will escape from them, and evil companions will take their places beside them.

      Forgetting Allah will give way to devil, who approaches near and nearer, until he controls his prey, and bars him from the way of truth. Therefore your companion must be better than you, if you intend to tread the way of progress.

      There is a saying:- ``Tell me who is your friend, and I will tell you who you are?''

      Many a man that were on the straight path of truth, that false and evil friends perverted them to falsehood.

      They adorned falsehood, and made sins fair-seeming to them, and thus corrupted their morales and led them to the Fire of evil deeds.
