Following the verse that report of the awe for God, that exists in the hearts of the learned and men of knowledge; there comes the verses of hope, about those who rehearse Qurän; that they expect a profitable transaction:-

      ``Those who read the book of Allah, and perform the prayer; and spend in charity of what We have given them...''

      It is evident that to read Qurän is not to scan it without study and deep contemplation. The reading should become a cause and a source of thought. And the thought should become a cause and source of righteous deeds, that may connect man with God.

      Reading Qurän without enough contemplation and pondering, will not open the doors of knowledge and understanding. Let us say this in another way:-

      Think of Qurän as a letter that has come to you from your most beloved one. You will read it eagerly and not once, but several time. You will consider what your most beloved one has told you to do, and by doing that you seek to get closer and closer to him. He has asked you in the letter to perform the prayer and pay a sum to the poor and needy in your vicinity. Pay some of them secretly and some other openly.

      What do you do then? Do you scan the letter and cast it away?

      In many verses of Qurän this world has been likened to a commerical center, in which Man is the merchant, and God is the customer, and the goods for sale are righteous deeds, and the currency is the Paradise.

      This is a unique trade in which the Customer (Allah) Has given the whole capital and without being in need of buying anything at all, He buys a trifle for a very high price! And yet the foolish seller does not come forth to sell something, and obtain an immense profit!
