ConclusionThe Day of judgment is like a new life for the dead land

The other beautiful perspective that the Qura’n has presented about life after death in front everyone’s eyes is the life after death in the kingdom of plants.

It is something that occurs every throughout our lives and we see it as long as we live. This is the living example of that perspective of the Day of Judgment, the smaller phase in which there is death and then the return to life.

The law of life and death is the same everywhere. If it is impossible for man to return to life after death then how do the plants and trees grow again after they are dead and rotten ? How is it that the dead earth comes back to life after the rains wearing a new dress of greenery? The growths of fruits, the advent of buds that bloom into flowers are all signs of life and they create a humdrum that signifies life.

Qura’n has drawn the attention of all mankind to it. We present below the important verse regarding this issue and hear them with our hearts:

Verses 9to 11 Surah Qaf:

“And We send down the blessed rains from the skies and give life to the earth which is dead; thus will be the resurrection (10) And tall date-palms ranged with clusters (11) sustenance for the servants and we give (new) life to the dead land. So will be the resurrection.

Verse 19 of Surah Rom:

“It is he who brings out the living from the dead and brings out the dead from the living and who gives life to the earth after it is dead and so shall you be resurrected.”

Verse 50 of Surah Rom:

“Behold the tokens of God’s mercy: how He gives life to the earth after it has died; He is the giver of life to the dead; He has power over all things.”

Verse 5 and 6 Surah Hajj:

“ And you see the earth dead and dry but when We send down the rain it is stirred to life, it swell and produces every kind of herbage in pairs.(6) This is so because God indeed is the Truth; it is He who gives life to the dead and it is He who has power over all things.”

Verse 39 of Surah Ha-Mim Sajdah:

“And among His signs is that you see the earth barren but when We send down the rains it is stirred to life and the yield increases. He who has given it life resurrects the dead and has power over all things.”

Verse 9 of Surah Fatir:

“And it is God who sends the winds so that they may raise the clouds and We drive them to a dead land and revive the earth thereafter its death. And so will be the resurrection.”

Verse 57 of Surah A’raf:

“ It is He who sends forth winds bearing good tidings heralding His mercy carrying heavy laden clouds and We send them to a land that is dead, then send showers upon it and bring forth all kinds of harvest ; likewise We shall bring forth the dead so that you may remember.”
