How will the decayed come back to life?How will they rise from the graves?

Here we mention those verses that state that men will come out of the graves on the Day of Judgment. The graves are the resting place of human bodies and this is also a very clear proof of physical resurrection.

There are umpteen of such verses in the Qura’n and we present the following samples from them:

Verse 7 of Surah Hajj:

And surely the Hour will come: there can be no doubt about it or about (the fact) that God will raise up all who are in their graves. (1)

Verse 51 of Surah Yasin:

The trumpet shall be sounded and behold! They will come out from their graves quickly to their Lord. (2)

Verse 52 of Surah Yasin:

They will say, “Woe to us! Who has raised us from our sleeping place?” and they will be told, “This is what the Most Beneficent (God) had promised and the Messengers spoke the truth.”

 

 

1. This meaning is conveyed in verse 4 of Sarah Infitar and verse 9 of Sarah Aadiyat.
2. The same explanation is there is verse 43 of Surah Ma’arij and verse 7 of Surah Qamar
